Job Summary
Plan, develop, and execute scientific projects addressing complex problems, including research, scope definition, and novel solution development. Communicate with clients via email, telephone, and face-to-face meetings as Project Manager, Client Manager, or Technical Manager. Deliver projects on-time, within scope, and within budget while writing technical reports and completing quality control reviews on work products. Delegate portions of project deliverables to junior staff, coordinate and manage field work, and lead permitting and regulatory agency coordination efforts. Solicit client feedback, suggest changes for client satisfaction, and anticipate potential issues to develop solutions. Lead, mentor, delegate to, and manage junior staff to grow their knowledge and career path. Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for executing projects and ensure resource availability and allocation. Develop proposals by working with clients to understand their goals and technical needs. Actively attend conferences, present on technical topics, and engage in professional associations. Have an active role in client prospecting and developing client plans. Review and improve SOPs, standards, and templates, and help develop new ones.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, Environmental Chemistry or related science major with hydrogeology coursework required
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience required
- Valid driver's license with a driving record in good standing required
Desired Qualifications
- Masters or PhD is preferred
- Experience with statistical analysis and related groundwater statistical analysis software preferred
- Experience in landfill and/or coal combustion residuals (CCR) projects preferred
- Professional registration (P.G., R.G., LHG) preferred
