Job Summary
The Hydro-Tester Operator is responsible for ensuring the proper pipe is on the table, pressuring pipes to API specifications, completing downtime summaries and hydro reports, ensuring chart recorders are accurate, making size changeovers, maintaining cleanliness in the work area, and performing machine maintenance. The role also includes cross-training to learn other operator positions. Candidates must have a high school diploma or G.E.D. and possess skills in mechanical aptitude, mathematics, and communication, and be able to work independently in a team environment.
