Hydro Blast Technician (Demolition Project)

Job Summary
Operate high-pressure water blasting equipment to safely clean tanks, vessels, piping, heat exchangers, and industrial facilities. Assist with equipment setup, inspections, maintenance, and teardown while following all safety procedures, confined space requirements, and lockout/tagout practices. Wear required personal protective equipment and work effectively with supervisors to complete projects safely and on schedule. Complete job documentation and maintain a clean work environment while traveling to customer job sites as needed for physically demanding tasks in various industrial environments and weather conditions. Work 12-hour shifts in a 24/6 round-the-clock operation with a 6 weeks on/1 week off rotation schedule for a 5-6-month project duration.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding work
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and travel when required
- Must be willing and able to pass an initial and periodic drug screens and a background check upon hire
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous hydro blasting, industrial cleaning, construction, manufacturing, or labor experience
- Strong commitment to safety
- Valid driver's license preferred
- TWIC card is a plus (or willingness to obtain one)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment screenings
