Job Summary
Hydraulics Technician responsible for assembling, maintaining, and servicing industrial machinery with large hydraulics; you’ll work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, overhead cranes, and precision blueprints to ensure equipment operates at the highest level of safety and performance. Responsibilities include understanding and applying Health and Safety, Quality Management Systems, and company policies; measuring and sizing hydraulics/pneumatics systems; fabricating lines; integrating and troubleshooting full systems; using overhead cranes and forklifts; reading blueprints; traveling up to 25% annually; testing procedures and evaluating results; lifting up to 40 lbs; and collaborating with a team. Certification in Fluid Power is an asset.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 experience in machine assembly and or service technician functions.
- Experience with Heavy Large Hydraulic systems
- Certification in Fluid Power is an asset
- Able to lift a minimum 40lbs.
- Ability to read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
