Job Summary
Current Hydro seeks a Hydraulics and Hydrology (H&H) Engineer responsible for hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for hydropower projects. Key responsibilities include preparing and reviewing modeling, supporting design and configuration of hydraulic structures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, possess a PE license, and have a minimum of 8 years of H&H engineering experience. Proven project management skills, proficiency in relevant software, as well as strong communication and leadership abilities are essential. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field from an accredited university.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license.
- Must be eligible for registration in other states as well.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in H&H engineering.
Desired Qualifications
- Proven experience in H&H modeling and project management skills.
- Experience with software such as HEC-RAS, GEOHECRAS, Esri GIS Software, Autodesk Civil3D
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.
Additional Requirements
- Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the US without requiring current or future sponsorship.
- Candidates are open to traveling up to 10%.
- Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings and Current Hydro background checks.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to drive on behalf of company business.
