Job Summary
Hydraulic Technicians troubleshoot and repair hydraulic products, evaluating system performance, diagnosing failures, and recommending repairs or upgrades. Responsibilities include disassembly/assembly, testing and analysis of hydraulic components, using test equipment, identifying parts and bills of material, maintaining paperwork and records, inventory handling and customer invoicing, and adherence to safety regulations. Requires reading work instructions, schematics, and technical documentation, familiarity with NPT/SAE/JIC/Metrics fittings, and use of tools such as hydraulic test stands, calipers, welding equipment, and hand tools. CFPS certification is a plus; 3–5+ years of related experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3-5+ years related experience or equivalent
- Ability to read and understand work instructions, schematics, assembly drawings, and technical documentation
- Knowledgeable with various mechanical, electrical and hydraulic measuring and test equipment
- CFPS-certified a plus
- Commitment to excellence and high standards
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow
- Ability to understand any and all safety requirements and cautions
