Job Summary
Perform assembly and testing on valves and assemblies by interpreting blueprints and job sheets, maintain high productivity while producing quality parts, follow written technical instructions and drawings, proof test by placing valves in block and re-testing. Set up test stands and test valves to meet specifications; troubleshoot problems during assembly and test; manage upkeep of hand tools and tooling; handle solvents, oils, and chemicals; ability to work with machinery at heights and in demanding environments. Prior experience with maintenance-related solutions and computer proficiency are required; plus preferred electronics/repair background.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent (i.e. GED)
- Minimum of three (3) years of related manufacturing machine maintenance experience
- Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, Lotus Notes or Outlook
- Ability to read and follow blueprints and job sheets
- Ability to lift 35 lbs and stand for 8+ hours
- Experience with solvents, oils, and other chemicals
- Desirable: Trade school degree in electronics or prior electrical repair/wiring experience
