Job Summary
Repair pumps, valves, and cylinders per customer request while testing, inspecting, and certifying all rental equipment. Use measuring devices and hand tools to service machinery, perform on-site maintenance, and provide technical support via multiple communication channels. Maintain chronological records of service activity, manage parts requests, and collaborate with operations on quoting, billing, and status updates. Attend required certification classes and keep the shop clean and organized. Valid driver's license and 5+ years of hydraulic repair experience required.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in hydraulic repairs/rebuilds
- Ability to read schematics, diagrams, and technical charts
- Valid driver's license
- Solid understanding of mechanical and hydraulic principles
- Mechanically inclined
- Basic math and science skills
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
- Planning and managing projects
- Professional and clear written and verbal skills
- Some MS Office experience
- Customer Service
Desired Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree in mechanics or industrial technology
- License to operate a forklift
