Job Summary
Repair pumps, valves, and cylinders per customer request while testing, inspecting, and certifying all rental and equipment. Use measuring devices and hand tools to service equipment, perform on-site maintenance, and provide technical support via multiple communication channels. Work closely with operations to ensure accurate quoting, billing, and status updates, maintaining chronological records of service activity. Attend required certification classes and manage shop maintenance including cleaning and organizing. Maintain a valid driver's license and possess 5+ years of hydraulic repair experience.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in hydraulic repairs/rebuilds
- Ability to read schematics, diagrams, and technical charts
- Valid driver's license
- Solid understanding of mechanical and hydraulic principles
- Mechanically inclined
- Basic math and science skills
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
- Planning and managing projects
- Professional and clear written and verbal skills
- Some MS Office experience
- Customer Service
Desired Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree in mechanics or industrial technology
- License to operate a forklift
