Job Summary
Hydraulic Product Engineer needed to design, develop, maintain, and test hydraulic components and systems for Commercial Snow & Ice products. You will read hydraulic schematics and data sheets, contribute to cross-functional teams to improve product quality and reduce cost, diagnose and repair hydraulic systems, own prototypes from concept through testing and validation, maintain documentation (design files, test reports, development plans), ensure designs meet safety, quality, reliability, and manufacturability standards, manage BOMs and ECNs, assist in creating product literature, and participate in Kaizen/3P events with a continuous improvement mindset. Prototyping and field testing will be part of responsibilities; strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders is essential. Prior experience with SolidWorks, hydraulic data sheets, and the ability to safely operate tools is desired; travel to other locations may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering: Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or Mechanical/Electrical Technology (MET/EET)
- 0-5 years experience
- Experience reading hydraulic circuit schematics
