Job Summary
Hydraulic/Hydrology Engineer/Project Manager in Phoenix offers hydrologic and hydraulic analysis modeling and design for public infrastructure and flood control projects. Lead and mentor EIT staff; prepare hydrologic/hydraulic studies and FEMA permitting; oversee drainage design drawings using AutoCAD; perform data management and exhibits with ArcGIS and QGIS; collaborate with PMs and ensure quality and timely delivery of projects. Proficiency with HEC-RAS, HEC-RAS 2D, HEC-HMS, FLO-2D and knowledge of drainage jurisdictional requirements is expected; role includes site visits, preparation of graphic materials for presentations, and contributing to project framework and quality initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Professional Licensed PE required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE)
- Minimum 5 years’ drainage engineering
- Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong organizational and Communication Skills
- Works well in a Team Environment
- Thorough attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of construction means, methods and techniques
- Ability to prepare civil engineering documents and specifications for projects
