Job Summary
Conduct high-quality multi-product install, repair, and maintenance services for hydraulic systems across diverse customer and mine sites. Perform on-site mechanical system testing, manufacture hose assemblies, and maintain hose rooms in a safe, tidy state. Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic industrial/mobile equipment while identifying sales opportunities through product cross-selling. Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. This permanent 08 on, 06 off roster role is located in the Peel Region WA, requiring a resident of the Pinjarra or Mandurah area to work from home or travel to sites.
Required Qualifications
- Unrestricted Australian work rights and must hold a valid visa (Permanent Resident / Australian Citizen)
- Be residential to Pinjarra, Mandurah etc
- Be able to work on an 08 on, 06 off shift working roster
- Current Australian driver's license
- Broad understanding of hydraulic systems and principles
- Mechanical aptitude
- Exposure to service/repair of hydraulic and pneumatic Industrial/Mobile equipment
- Relevant trade or TAFE qualifications or at least 3 years or experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of the principles and processes for providing excellent customer service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be willing to undertake a Pre Employment Medical Check and Police Check
Desired Qualifications
- Strong experience in providing technical service and troubleshooting/breakdown support
- Have the strong ability to repair and replace hydraulic hoses at customer and mine sites as required
- Conduct tests of mechanical systems on site
- Manufacture hose assemblies
- Maintain hose rooms at sites in a safe and tidy state
- Identify sales opportunities through product cross selling and optimisation
- Liaise closely with key stakeholders to ensure high level of customer satisfaction is achieve
