Job Summary
Lead impactful projects involving the design and optimization of water distribution systems, storm, sanitary, and combined sewer systems. Apply hydraulic and hydrologic expertise to create innovative solutions by analyzing system data using simulations and models to enhance performance. Leverage advanced modeling tools like InfoWater, EPANET, and InfoSWMM to simulate hydraulic systems, assess design scenarios, and ensure data integrity. Serve as a client-facing engineer coordinating with internal teams, leading meetings, and driving models in real time to answer questions and keep stakeholders aligned. Make data-driven decisions based on interpreting hydraulic modeling results to predict real-world system performance. Bachelor of Science in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering with 3+ years of experience in hydraulic modeling required; Master's degree is a plus. Flexible work schedule available.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in hydraulic and hydrologic modeling
- A solid academic foundation in hydraulics and hydrology
- Ability to use top-tier modeling software like InfoWater, EPANET, InfoSWMM, PCSWMM, and/or EPA SWMM
- Microsoft Office 365 expertise, especially Excel
- Ability to work solo when needed
