HYCO Operator

HYCO Shift Operator responsible for the day-to-day operation of the HYCO facility, ensuring production requirements are met safely and efficiently. Operates the HYCO Steam Methane Reformer, CO2 recovery units, and ancillary equipment (including water treatment) and the pipeline network to supply hydrogen, steam, and CO2. Performs safety work permits and LOTO, executes preventive maintenance, assists maintenance and engineering in corrective activities, maintains document control, supports commissioning, and provides operations guidance to ensure safety, reliability, and maintainability of equipment and processes. Communicates plant status to the Shift Supervisor, supports environmental, regulatory, and safety compliance, and participates in continuous improvement initiatives and customer relations. Proficiency in English and strong interpersonal skills are required; Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Chemical Process Operations is preferred (Associate Technical Degree considered based on experience).
