Job Summary
HYCO Shift Operator at APQ facility in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. Responsible for day-to-day operation of HYCO facility including Steam Methane Reformer, CO2 removal/compression, auxiliary PSA, membrane unit and related utilities. Tasks include safety work permits, LOTO, preventative maintenance, coordination with maintenance/engineering, and ensuring safe, reliable hydrogen/steam/CO2 delivery to pipeline customers. Likely progression toward lead/supervisor roles after Operator progression, with evaluation after 5–15+ years of experience. Requires knowledge of process operations, safety practices, equipment documentation, and ability to support commissioning and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Chemical Process Operations preferred
- Associate Technical Degree will be considered based on experience and competence
- Minimum 5 years plant operations experience
- Proficiency in English
- Strong safety, leadership and communication skills
