Job Summary
Hybrid Warehouse and Customer Support Rep needed at Emser Tile LLC for a local branch. You will be the primary contact for Builders, Designers, General Contractors, and walk-in customers, delivering in-person and phone-based service. Responsibilities include greeting and assisting customers, entering and verifying orders in the JDE system, supporting branch operations and sales teams, aiding showroom customers, performing warehouse tasks (receiving, stocking, picking, packing, shipping), reconciling inventory, handling will-call and showroom audits, preparing basic sample boards, and performing other duties to support customer service and warehouse operations. Required skills include 1-3 years in related environments, strong organization and communication abilities, teamwork, data-entry and basic math proficiency, and familiarity with inventory processes; forklift certification and wet saw experience are a plus, with bilingual Spanish/English preferred. The role is hourly with a traditional workday and potential additional hours based on business needs, located in Plymouth and Minneapolis, MN.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in building, construction, design, or warehouse environments preferred
- Results-driven, customer-focused, highly organized, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Outstanding leadership, critical thinking, decision-making, and listening skills
- Knowledge of database and query functions; functional computer skills required
- Ability to read and respond to non-verbal communication
- Excellent basic math skills, including piece-to-square-foot calculations and product counting/tracking
- Ability to create and produce basic sample boards and handle inventory safely and efficiently
- Forklift certification and experience using a wet saw are a plus
- Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred, or other language as appropriate for the area
- Must be able to pass a background check
