Job Summary
Hybrid Visiting Professor of Accounting role based in Manhattan, NY, teaching undergraduate and graduate accounting courses on-site with a blend of face-to-face instruction and technology-enabled activities. Responsibilities include developing and updating DeVry-approved syllabi and lesson plans, organizing and revising course materials, using appropriate online tools (website, email, online discussions) to support student learning, modeling clear oral and written communication, publishing terminal objectives and assignment/exam schedules, ensuring alignment of exams with objectives, providing timely feedback, integrating responsible AI practices in teaching, recognizing appropriate use of AI tools in student work, and completing other duties as assigned. Qualifications require a Doctorate in accounting, 18 graduate credits in the subject, and credentialing or accreditation considerations as applicable. Pay is hourly, with ranges per 8-week session and location details provided; remote options exist as in-person per current listing.
