Job Summary
REMOTE Truss Designer designs metal plate-connected wood trusses for single-family, multi-family, and commercial construction using Mitek software. Focus on design accuracy, cost optimization, and structural integrity; responsibilities include reviewing orders, layouts, and data files, collaborating with sales and production teams to provide design support and troubleshooting, and continuously improving design processes. Requires a minimum high school diploma with preference for a related bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, and at least 5 years of truss design experience in roof and floor systems. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a high school diploma; a bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience is a plus

- Strong knowledge of floor and roof systems, including ability to specify beams and hangars
