Job Summary
Inspect, measure, and test products using electronic measuring equipment and microscopes while interpreting work orders, schematics, and performance specifications. Perform final acceptance testing, connect and tune units with signal generators and spectrum analyzers, and compare results against standards to record data or plot graphs. Analyze findings, recommend quality improvements, and train or mentor technicians while troubleshooting preamps, filters, and subassemblies under specified environmental conditions. Prepare technical reports and summarize findings to resolve problems. Work a 4-day, 10-hour schedule with a 3-day weekend in a clean room environment.
Required Qualifications
- associate degree or bachelor's Degree in electronics or related field or Military Electronics
- 3-5 years of experience in the Functional Testing and troubleshooting of RF devices
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience working with microelectronic products under a microscope
- Experience with RF circuitry (amplifiers, mixers, integrated microwave assemblies) down to the component level
- Skilled using O-scopes, Signal Generators, Network Analyzers and Spectrum Analyzers
- Experience performing visual inspections
- Able to do basic math in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
- Communicate effectively via teams/ email, strong interpersonal communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience soldering (J-STD) and with electronics assembly process
- Experience working with engineers
- AS9100 experience
