Job Summary
Conduct clinical assessments, reassessments, and bio psychosocial evaluations using approved questionnaires and techniques. Review medical and health-related documents to determine functional capacity outcomes and coordinate with Review Physicians and Evaluating Clinicians as needed. Perform mental health evaluations for customers requiring assessment and utilize motivational interviewing to elicit complete information. Compile clinical assessment forms, documentation, and reports per HRA requirements, gaining customer signatures and collaborating with service track staff on findings. Participate in team meetings to improve assessment processes and complete required training while adhering to HRA and RWS policies.
Required Qualifications
- *NYS license or provisional license is required
- Master's Degree in psychology, special education, social work, or related field
- Must have experience with behavioral intervention, and/or a strong educational emphasis on the principles of learning and developmental psychology
- Two or more years' experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behaviorally challenged population
- Must be eligible to be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst
- Must be available for crisis intervention
