Hybrid- FT Psychiatrist

Job Summary
Conduct psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and outpatient support for clients with mental health disorders in an inpatient setting. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans while prescribing and managing medication as necessary. Provide psychotherapy and counseling, collaborate with multidisciplinary team members including psychologists and social workers, and maintain accurate patient documentation. Participate in case conferences and treatment planning meetings. Stay current with developments in child and adolescent psychiatry through continuing education. Must be on site three times per week and willing to commute to Statesboro, GA.
Required Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school
- Completed residency in Psychiatry
- Valid medical license to practice in Georgia
- Valid DEA license in Georgia
- Strong clinical skills in the assessment and treatment of child and adolescent mental health disorders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care
- Must be on site THREE times per week
- Must be willing to commute to Statesboro, GA
