Hybrid- FT Psychiatrist

Job Summary
Conduct psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and psychotherapy for clients in an in-patient setting. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans while prescribing and managing medication as necessary. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including psychologists and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care and participate in case conferences and treatment planning meetings. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care. Stay current with developments in child and adolescent psychiatry through continuing education activities. Requires an MD or DO with completed psychiatry residency, a valid North Carolina medical and DEA license, and strong clinical skills in treating child and adolescent mental health disorders.
Required Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school
- Completed residency in Psychiatry
- Valid medical license to practice in North Carolina
- Valid DEA license in North Carolina
- Strong clinical skills in the assessment and treatment of child and adolescent mental health disorders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care
