Job Summary
Hybrid Float Clinician role involving direct patient care across multiple Connecticut health centers (Manchester-based with travel to Waterbury, Meriden, West Hartford and Hartford North). Provides telehealth as needed and performs full scope duties including physical exams, ordering/interpreting tests, pelvic ultrasound, and medication abortion; supports training and compliance within the health center; leads and collaborates with clinic staff; maintains documentation and adheres to PPSNE standards, HIPAA, OSHA, and CLIA; requires active medical licensure and appropriate certifications; strong emphasis on leadership, teamwork, and interprofessional collaboration. Flexible to cover unplanned center absences and travel between sites.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from a recognized Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Nurse Midwife training program or Medical School
- Active licensure in good standing (State Medical License for CT and/or RI, DEA)
- Professional certification (ANCC, NCC, ACNM, NCCPA or MD)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience in sexual and reproductive healthcare
- Primary care experience preferred
