Job Summary
Lead students in rigorous, differentiated instruction across all subjects using literacy strategies and data-driven assessments to ensure high academic success. Design engaging lessons that address diverse learning styles while holding students accountable to high behavioral expectations within a safe, curiosity-driven environment. Collaborate with team members and learning coaches for hybrid delivery, including face-to-face sessions at the Nicholson Street Campus, testing support, and field trips. Communicate consistently with parents and administrators to promote meaningful involvement and maintain professional standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- Undergraduate GPA of 3.0 and above
- Successful completion of the ETS PRAXIS II Exam (0014): Elementary Education Content Knowledge
- 2+ years of relevant K-6 urban teaching experience
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Commitment to providing a world-class education to students from historically underserved communities
- Hybrid capacity with potential of 3 days a week in person and 2 days a week virtually
- Requirement to participate in all in-person activities
