Job Summary
Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and account reconciliations. Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements while ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements. Support the annual budgeting process, financial forecasting, and long-term planning initiatives, and coordinate external audits by preparing schedules and responding to requests. Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets, monitor cash flow and key metrics, and ensure timely completion of month-end and year-end close processes. Collaborate with leadership to identify process improvements and assist with special projects and financial analyses as needed. This fully remote or hybrid role offers a salary up to $95K DOE and requires the candidate to live within 30 minutes of the Broward County area.
Required Qualifications

- Ability to oversee all aspects of the accounting function
- Ability to ensure accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting
- Ability to manage day-to-day accounting operations
- Ability to maintain strong internal controls
- Ability to support financial planning activities
- Ability to provide leadership in financial management
- Ability to manage accounts payable (AP)
- Ability to manage accounts receivable (AR)
- Ability to perform general ledger maintenance
- Ability to perform account reconciliations
- Ability to prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Knowledge of company policies
- Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements
- Ability to support the annual budgeting process
