Job Summary
Prepare various foods for the Hy-Chi department, cooking soups, meats, and vegetables while managing hot and cold cases. Clean woks, add spices, combine ingredients, and refill cases as necessary. Escort customers to products, greet shoppers by name, and answer telephone inquiries promptly. Order supplies when needed and prepare items for the next day. Maintain strict adherence to hygiene guidelines and company policies. This fast-paced role requires physical stamina to move objects and follow detailed instructions. Starting wage is $14.00 to $17.50 hourly.
Required Qualifications
- High school or equivalent
- Must be physically able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
- Must be physically able to exert up to 20 pounds of force frequently
- Must be physically able to exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly
- Vision from more than 20 inches and less than 20 feet with or without correction
- Color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors)
