Job Summary
Define and execute Spare Engineering strategy to drive Value Engineering initiatives and build long-term savings pipelines through repair technology development and alternate material sourcing. Lead the deployment of new repair capabilities across Asia Bench sites while coordinating engineering collaboration between Japan and Taiwan teams to standardize best practices. Manage supplier ecosystem expansion by driving technical partnerships, business matching, and government agency collaborations to identify emerging technologies. Convert cost objectives into executable roadmaps that improve repair capability and reduce external dependency, supported by performance management of VE savings and new technology deployment. Promote AI and digital solutions for cost analysis to improve engineering productivity and strengthen decision-making through data visibility.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering or a related field
- Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, equipment engineering, or spare parts management
- Proven experience in team leadership and people management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working across multiple functions and global teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive execution
- Business-level English proficiency
Desired Qualifications
- Using AI experience
- Experience in Spare Engineering, CCRR, repair technologies, or Value Engineering (VE)
- Experience with cost reduction, supplier development, or alternate source programs
- Experience in cross-site collaboration and technology deployment
- Knowledge of semiconductor equipment and repair processes
- Familiarity with data analytics, automation, or AI tools (Python, SQL, Power BI, Tableau)
- Experience driving continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives
