HVDC Commissioning Lead Engineer (all genders)

Job Summary
Lead HVDC Commissioning Lead Engineer responsible for testing and executing commissioning activities for HVDC projects across Europe and Asia, coordinating with customer representatives, preparing commissioning documentation (programs, procedures, ITPs, checklists), managing an international commissioning team, and ensuring compliance with contract and quality plans. Requires 100% on-site presence during execution, readiness to travel, and strong emphasis on safety, QA, and coordination with design offices and PM teams. Fluency in English and willingness to work on construction sites in Germany and abroad are required.
Required Qualifications
- Completed degree in electrical engineering or comparable qualification
- Electrical Engineering qualification with minimum 5–8 years of experience
- Experience as a Commissioning Leader or Lead Commissioning Engineer on HVDC or large substation projects, or similar projects in Power Generation or Oil & Gas
- Strong health and safety mindset aligned with international standards
- Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus
- Willingness to work on construction sites in Germany and abroad
- German driver's license class B or equivalent
