Job Summary
Registered Nurse in the Heart and Vascular/Cardiac ICU units providing comprehensive neuro and cardiac post-operative care, including tracheostomy and ventilator management, neuro assessment, airway management, and coordination of patient plans of care; serves as preceptor and charge nurse, supporting education and ensuring high-quality patient care within YNHH/YNHHS settings; BSN preferred with CT license encouraged to pursue clinical advancement.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- BSN preferred
- BCLS certification or obtain within one month of hire
- Licensed and currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut (CT)
- Clinical specialty certification encouraged
