Job Summary
Vascular/NICU-focused Registered Nurse (HVC Vascular Nurse) in Manchester, NH. Provides comprehensive nursing care on a high-acuity unit under supervision of the Nurse Manager/Clinical Coordinator. Responsibilities include assessing ongoing patient conditions, developing and documenting individualized plans of care, coordinating with the healthcare team, educating patients and families, supervising non-RN personnel, precepting new staff, and serving as a charge nurse. Requires competency in neuro care, airway management, tracheostomy care, ventilator support, and familiarity with post-surgical vascular and cardiac patients; adherence to unit policies and professional standards. BSN preferred; Connecticut RN licensure; BCLS; opportunities for professional development and advancement through SPIRE program.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Licensed and currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut
- BSN preferred or higher (education)
- Current BCLS certification or ability to obtain within one month of hire
- Clinical specialty certification encouraged
