HVC Vascular Nurse

RN—HVC Vascular/NCTICU role providing patient care, assessments and plan of care on a nursing unit; supervises non-RN staff and may assume charge duties. Delivers comprehensive neuro and cardiovascular ICU care, including airway management, tracheostomy care, ventilator support, and post-operative vascular/cardiac ICU procedures. Develops, documents and educates on care plans; collaborates with healthcare team; precepts new staff and supports education programs; adheres to unit policies and standards of practice; promotes patient- and family-centered care and performance improvement. Demonstrates clinical skills across neuro assessment, Halo brace care, and post-surgical vascular/cardiac patients, with emphasis on safe patient care and effective communication.
