HVC Post-Op Recovery Nurse (Cardiac)

Registered Nurse in the HVC Post-Op Recovery/Cardiac units provides patient-centered care across multiple cardiac inpatient units, aligning with ANA Scope and Standards of Practice and the YNHHS professional practice model. Responsibilities include nursing assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation; coordinating care with patients, families, and healthcare team; health teaching and promotion; ensuring ethical, culturally congruent, and high-quality nursing practice; leadership and collaboration within cardiovascular units (5-2, 5-3, V3E, V5E, 5-7 EP) to manage post-operative cardiac care including post-CABG, valve replacement, tachy/brady dyssrhythmias, and telemetry patients. Requires Connecticut RN licensure, BCLS certification, and BSN preferred; unit-based complex cardiovascular care in an inpatient setting.
