HVC Interventional Cardiovascular Nurse

RN role on HVC Interventional Cardiovascular units focusing on patient-centered cardiac care. Responsibilities include applying ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, assessing and diagnosing patient needs, planning and implementing care, coordinating transitions, health teaching and promotion, and evaluation. Emphasis on collaboration with patients, families, and health care team; adherence to professional practice standards; leadership and quality improvement within a cardiovascular inpatient setting. Requires Connecticut RN licensure; BSN preferred; BCLS certification within one month of hire; experience or involvement in advanced cardiac procedures (catheterization, angioplasty/stent, pacemaker/ICD) and post-operative cardiac care.
