HVC Interventional Cardiovascular Nurse

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for adult patients with complex cardiac, medical, and vascular diagnoses in high-acuity ICU and stepdown settings. Manage patients requiring advanced therapies including mechanical circulatory support (IABP, Impella, LVADs), ECMO, and post-operative care from CABG and valve replacements. Document individualized plans of care, educate patients and families, and function as a preceptor or charge nurse when assigned. Perform specific procedures such as pharyngeal, endotracheal, and tracheostomy suctioning and assist physicians during special neuro and cardiac procedures.
