Job Summary
Registered Nurse in HVC Interventional Cardiovascular care with BSN preferred; responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating and supervising patient care on a nursing unit, functioning as a preceptor/charge nurse, neuro/cardiac-focused competencies, airway management and care for trached patients, suctioning, ventilator management, ECMO/LVAD consideration, and post-operative care in a Cardiac ICU/CTICU context; requires collaboration with healthcare team, documentation of care plans, education for patients and families, and adherence to unit standards and SPIRE clinical advancement opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- BSN preferred
- Licensed and currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut
- Clinical specialty certification highly encouraged
