Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) in the HVC Interventional Cardiovascular units provides patient-centered cardiac care guided by ANA standards, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation of care, collaboration with patients, families and the healthcare team, health teaching, and ensuring quality outcomes. The role requires CT RN licensure, current certification, and adherence to professional practice standards within the Yale New Haven Health System. The unit focuses on cardiovascular medical/interventional management including catheterization, angioplasty/stent, pacemaker/ICD, and related post-procedure/kardio populations across multiple HVC units.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Licensed and currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut
- BCLS certification required or must obtain within one month of hire
- BSN preferred
