Job Summary
Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care on cardiovascular units in line with ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, coordinating with the healthcare team, delivering health teaching, and evaluating outcomes. Practices ethically, culturally congruent care, and professional behavior while upholding organizational values. Requires CT RN licensure, BSN preferred, and BCLS; roles include leadership, collaboration, and evidence-based nursing within an inpatient cardiac care setting.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- BSN preferred
- Current BCLS certification or obtain within one month of hire
- Licensed and currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut
- Clinical specialty certification highly encouraged
