HVC Heart Failure Nurse

Registered Nurse (HVC Heart Failure) in the Yale New Haven Health System cardiac inpatient units, practicing under ANA Scope and Standards of Practice to deliver patient-centered nursing care. Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care, health teaching and promotion, and evaluation; leadership and collaboration with patients, families, and health care teams; adherence to professional standards and ethics; CT licensure with BCLS certification required within one month of hire; BSN preferred. This role emphasizes evidence-based nursing, culturally congruent practice, quality improvement, and professional accountability in a busy cardiac unit setting (intermediate care and post-operative care for cardiac procedures).
