Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and supervise patient care on a nursing unit; supervise non-RN personnel; serve as charge nurse; provide advanced neuro and cardiac ICU care (including airway management, tracheostomy, ventilator care, IABP/Impella/LVAD considerations); educate patients and families; collaborate with healthcare team; participate in SPIRE clinical advancement program.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- BSN preferred
- Current Connecticut RN license
- BCLS certification or must obtain within one month of hire
- Clinical specialty certification highly encouraged
