HVC Heart Failure Nurse

HVC Heart Failure Nurse role on a Cardiac ICU/Neuro-focused nursing unit within the YNHH/YNHHS system. Provides RN patient care across the continuum, including assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, supervision of non-RN personnel, and potential charge nurse responsibilities. Responsibilities include developing individualized care plans, collaborating with the healthcare team, educating patients and families, precepting new staff, and ensuring high standards of service. Requires competencies in neuro assessment, airway management, care for trached patients, ventilator management, and familiarity with cardiac and vascular post-operative patients.
