HVC Electrophysiology Nurse

HVC Electrophysiology Nurse role in Yale New Haven Health System focuses on providing high-quality, patient-centered cardiac nursing care within specialized inpatient units (e.g., HVC Cardiac Medical Intermediate Care Unit, Cardiac Surgery Intermediate Care/Step Down, Verdi 3 East, Verdi 5 East). The RN applies ANA Scope and Standards of Practice to assessments, diagnoses, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation; coordinates care with patients, families, and the healthcare team; engages in health teaching and promotion; demonstrates leadership and collaboration, and upholds professional practice standards across complex cardiovascular patient populations including post-operative cardiac care, electrophysiology procedures, pacemaker/ICD management, and heart failure support.
