Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) in the HVC Cardiothoracic/Cardiac units providing patient-centered care per ANA Scope and Standards, collaborating with the health care team, and ensuring quality outcomes. Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care, coordination of care, health teaching, and adherence to professional standards. BSN preferred with CT licensure; opportunities span cardiac medical intermediate care, cardiac surgery intermediate care/step-down, and telemetry units.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- BSN preferred.
- Licensed and a currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut.
- BCLS certification current or must obtain within one month of hire.
- Clinical specialty certification highly encouraged.
