HVC Cardiac Telemetry Nurse

Provide direct patient care on a neuroscience/cardiac telemetry unit under supervision; assumes charge nurse duties, supervises non-RN staff, and collaborates with the healthcare team. Develops, communicates, and documents plans of care; assesses patients’ physical and psychosocial condition throughout the continuum of care; coordinates care with the healthcare team; serves as a preceptor and may function as charge nurse. Demonstrates competency in neuro assessment, airway management, care of tracheostomy/ventilator patients, and familiarity with devices such as ECMO, IABP, Impella/VADs, and CRRT; supports education and discharge planning.
