HVC Cardiac Telemetry Nurse

RN provides patient-centered care on a cardiac telemetry/inpatient unit per ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, establishing therapeutic relationships, collaborating with patients/families/healthcare teams, and respecting patient values; adheres to professional standards, engages in leadership, communication, and education, and contributes to quality outcomes. Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, coordination of care, health teaching, and evaluation to support cardiovascular patients undergoing procedures such as catheterization, angioplasty/stent, pacemaker/ICD, and management of conditions like heart failure and dysrhythmias; requires Connecticut RN licensure, BSN preferred, and BCLS certification.
