Job Summary
HVC Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse (RN) at Yale New Haven Health System. Provides patient-centered nursing care within cardiac units, applying ANA standards, nursing process, collaborative care, patient/family education, and ethical practice. Requires Connecticut RN licensure, BSN preferred, and current BCLS certification within one month of hire; clinical specialty certification encouraged. Unit details include HVC Cardiac Medical Intermediate Care and related cardiac units (e.g., postoperative cardiac care, telemetry, and specialized cardiac services).
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.
- Licensed and a currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut.
- Current BCLS certification or must obtain within one month of hire.
- Clinical specialty certification highly encouraged.
