Job Summary
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment including walk-in coolers, rooftop units, and exhaust systems. Perform preventative maintenance, install and commission new systems, and manage truck inventory to ensure proper parts and tools are stocked. Accurately document service calls, parts used, and labor hours in the company system while communicating repair recommendations and maintenance plans to customers. Respond to emergency service calls in a timely manner and maintain EPA compliance. Participate in ongoing technical training and professional development opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in commercial HVAC and refrigeration service
- EPA Universal Certification
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, electrical diagnostics, airflow systems, and mechanical troubleshooting
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs. and work in varying indoor / outdoor conditions
- Ability to climb ladders, work from heights, and crawl in tight quarters
- Own industry standard hand tools
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation as needed
