Job Summary
Lead HVAC truck-based service operations with day-to-day leadership of a service team and multi-million dollar revenue portfolio. Own P&L performance, drive revenue growth and margin expansion, oversee scheduling, dispatch, and work quality to meet SLAs, and ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and high customer satisfaction. Partner with branch leadership, sales, and technical leaders on service scopes and change orders, mentor mechanics and staff, and use data to optimize capacity, performance, and field productivity. Champion digital tools and standard work to improve documentation and scheduling accuracy, while tracking KPIs such as backlog, WIP, and delivery quality. This hands-on senior leadership role requires strong financial acumen, cross-functional collaboration, and a customer-first mindset.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of Commercial HVAC systems
- Demonstrated success leading HVAC field service teams—preferably truck-based—with responsibility for technician development, customer outcomes, and financial results
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to coach, inspire, and hold teams accountable in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
- Financial acumen (budgeting, forecasting, margin management) and an analytical approach to performance improvement
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and service management systems; comfort with digital tools and standardized processes
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset
