Job Summary
HVAC Truck Based Mechanic Apprentice with Johnson Controls (union). Train and work on HVAC mechanical equipment and controls at client sites; participate in Service Technical Academy certification; develop troubleshooting and customer-service skills under coaching and mentorship; involvement in safety, progress updates, and upselling opportunities; minimum one year of experience preferred; must join or be a member of the UA union; valid driver’s license required; earnings commensurate with CBA, $21-$32/hour with benefits through the local union; role is a Bargaining Unit position with emphasis on hands-on training and progression into skilled HVAC roles.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a member or willing to join the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States and Canada, AFL-CIO
- 1+ years of industry experience or experience in servicing mechanical systems in the HVAC industry
- Valid driver’s license
