Job Summary
Analytical duties related to HVAC and environmental control systems. Demonstrates knowledge of refrigeration and electrical components and their proper operation; must be familiar with HVAC and dehumidification systems; knowledge of refrigerants (R-134, R407C, R410A, etc.); troubleshoot HVAC or environmental control systems with industrial electrical knowledge; assist the Test Technician II and train in all areas of Test; perform other duties as assigned. Requires a high school diploma or GED and 1-2 years related experience or equivalent. Must use test equipment (meters, refrigeration gauges, etc.) and follow safe practices when dealing with electricity and pressurized systems. HVAC training/school required or in-process; strong mathematical skills and understanding of HVAC formulas and psychometrics. Benefits after 60 days, including Paid Time Off, holidays, health insurance, life insurance, 401k with match, and potential pay increase after four months. Location is Dayton, TN.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- One to two years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- HVAC training/school required or in-process
- Ability to use test equipment including meters and refrigeration gauges
- Safe practices when dealing with electricity and pressurized systems
- Working knowledge of HVAC formulas and psychometrics
