Job Summary
Connect and operate test stand units, adjusting controls to meet specifications while reading schematics and blueprints to ensure proper assembly. Use computer test software effectively, complete required documentation, and identify or troubleshoot performance abnormalities in electrical and refrigeration systems. Operate hand tools and PIT equipment, rework defective pieces, and train new members on safe work practices and quality standards. Maintain the 5S program and adhere to safety manuals. Weekend shifts from 6:00am to 6:30pm Friday through Sunday, with overtime available.
Required Qualifications
- The ability to lift, push, and/or pull materials
- The ability to stand for majority of the shift
- The ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining proper PPE
- The ability to use hand tools for extended periods of time
- The ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
- High School Education/GED OR Minimum 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing/production environment
- 2-year trade school (EPA) certificate in A/C Refrigeration or equivalent education approved by company
- Must be able to operate PIT (Powered Industrial Trucks)
